Pulse of Surgery Program and Careers in S.T.E.M.
What are careers in S.T.E.M. and how do I connect with people who are doing the latest research in the science community?
Through a collaborative effort with Kentucky One Health/Jewish Hospital and St. Mary's Foundation, Greater Louisville Medical Society, Louisville Women in Medicine and Science (L-WIMS), 7th-12th grade students will work in sessions and hear from leaders in the science community. Students will be introduced to alternative science career opportunities and educational advancements with a biomedical focus. This program will also highlight "Pulse of Surgery" -- a real-time open heart surgery.
Pre-registration is required. Please contact Veronica Greenwell at veronica.greenwell@louisvilleky.gov or call 502-560-7151.
This event is co-sponsored by the University of Louisville and Kentucky One Health/Jewish Hospital and St. Mary's Foundation.
