This Nursing Research!Louisville Symposium is intended to aid the use of and dissemination of Research, Evidence-Based Practice, and Quality improvement studies and projects.  This year, the morning session speakers, Tracy L. Brewer, DNP, RNC-OB, CLC, and Lisa E. Long, MSN, RN, CNS, will present "Bottom Up, Top Down: Vision, Action and Outcome for Implementing EBP" and will focus on removing barriers to implementing evidence-based practice (EBP).  The morning session will also have local EBP and Quality Improvement presentations.  The afternoon session speaker, Nora Warshawsky, Ph.D., RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, will present "Building the Evidence to Create Healthy Work Environments" and will focus on healthy work environments, valid, reliable instruments for measuring healthy work environments, and implementation strategies.  The afternoon session will also have local research study presentations.
