Susan Winebrenner, PhD, APRN, AGNP-BC, OCN, is an Assistant Professor at the UofL School of Nursing and an Oncology-Certified Nurse Practitioner for Norton Cancer Institute. She is a three-time graduate of the UofL School of Nursing, having received her PhD in May 2022. Dr. Winebrenner has extensive experience as an oncology research coordinator, oncology nurse navigator in surgical oncology and as an advanced practice registered nurse in medical oncology. Her research focuses on the psychological impact of diagnostic imaging during cancer survivorship and developing targeted interventions to reduce scan-related anxiety during the survivorship period.
