This 90-minute session will include an overview of the research activities of the newly formed Envirome Institute, followed by 4 different talks centered around the impact of the environment on human health.  The session will introduce the concept of the envirome and highlight the role of different domains of the environment on human health and disease risk, as well as the necessity of inter-disciplinary approaches to understanding the link between health and the environment.
