Dr. Okanlami is Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Urology, Associate Director, Health Policy and Economics Path of Excellence Michigan Medicine, University of Michigan. His research interests include creating equal access to physical and emotional health and wellness for individuals with disabilities, creating a healthcare system that is inclusive of and accessible to patients and providers with disabilities, and advancing health equity and inclusion with a particular focus on intersectional identities (e.g. disability and race).
